Free Fitness To Help You Live Your Best Life

Keeping your fitness levels up is so underrated. There are so many benefits to keeping healthy, from less overall health problems, a stronger heart, better mental health. It reduces your risk of getting serious diseases such as cancers, heart attacks and dementia, prevents muscle loss, keeps your brain sharp, improves your skin and helps keep stress, depression and anxiety in check. And that is just a handful of reasons!

However, with many gyms closed, and even when they aren’t – expensive, we look at some of the best free fitness videos, sites and apps you can use to your advantage.

Leslie Sansone

Leslie has become my new best friend and mortal enemy, all in one! Virtually, of course. She has been going since the 1980s, and has a huge following. She has released several books, DVDs, and even an app. Leslie also has the majority of her videos on YouTube, which is where I came across her. No matter what you want to do, she has got you covered! Listed in miles and minutes, from beginner to pro, you can be sure to find a video to suit you! Now all you have to do is walk, walk, walk!!

Kayla Isitines

Compared to Leslie, Kayla is a relative newcomer to the scene. Saying this, she has still been around for a few years, building her company with her then partner Tobi Pearce in 2014. Now, she is a multimillionaire, with an immense fan base, and a huge following on social media for her BBG (Bikini Body Guide) workouts. As well as apps, books, and merchandise, she posts many of her videos on her socials, and YouTube, so you can get a taste of what she has to offer before you commit to her programme!

Six Pack In 30 Days

This app is one of many free fitness apps, but I love it for its simplicity. Its not just adored by me, with over 50 million downloads on Android alone, and 4.9* reviews from over 1 million people. It is also available on ios. With three 30 day challenges; beginner, intermediate and advanced, in 90 days you should be seeing a significant difference to your body! It also has the added bonus of syncing to Google Fit and entering your own details, in order to give you better daily reports.

Yoga with Adriene

Although yoga may not be for everyone, yoga is brilliant for your body and mind, in a low key, understated kinda way. It improves your strength, balance, and flexibility. You will also be deeply relaxed, enabling better sleep, for a calmer, less stressed you, tones your body, and focus on your breathing. Although there are many apps and videos about, Yoga with Adriene has a website, and a popular YouTube channel with videos for every fitness level. A benefit of watching the videos is you can see the poses, and gain the tips and pointers that she offers along the way. So whether you’re someone just starting out, or looking to hone your already skilled talent, check her out!
